Kupwara: A blood donation camp was organized in Lolab Kupwara on Sunday by Army’s 28RR lolab with Colb with Indian Red Cross Society.
The ceremony was attended by 50 Army personnel who donated blood. Members of Red Cross Society were present in the donation camp.
Member of Red cross society said that holding such camps is an important need of the hour which can benefit the patients in government hospitals who are in dire need of blood and these patients are not facing any problem in the hospitals regarding blood.
At the end of the programme the army thanked all the guests and encouraged the soldiers who donated their blood and distributed juices and fruits to them.
