Jammu, 26 July: Senior BJP Leader from Kupwara District Javaid Qureshi today greeted the nation on the occasion of Kargil Vijay diwas being remembered for the bravery of the Soldier’s who sacrificed their lives for the Nation in Kargil War.
In a Statement Javaid Qureshi said that as the Nation Celebrates 21st anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, My tribute to our brave martyr’s remembering their sacrifices to uphold & safeguard the integrity of the Nation.
Javaid Qureshi further said that this day commemorates the success of “Operation Vijay” which was launched by our Indian Army to recapture the Indian territories captured by the Pakistani intruders in the Kargil-Drass sector in 1999.
The Senior Leader of BJP from North Kashmir’s Kupwara District Javaid Qureshi further said that undaunted courage and flinching determination of our Army led to successful Operation. Javaid Qureshi said that our brave heart soldiers fought legendary battles in Drass, Kaksar, Batalik & Turtuk sectors at the height of 12000 feet & said that although both the sides lost several lives but our Country India emerged victorious by regaining control of all the previously held territory.
Javaid Qureshi paid rich tributes to the soldiers who lost their lives in the operation & said the Nation will always remember the Valour, sacrifice & exemplary courage of Our Soldiers.
