Kupwara, July 26: In view of forth coming Eid Ul Azha and festive activities, District Magistrate Kupwara, Anshul Garg today issued an order wherein certain relaxations have been granted for opening up of shops across the district with some conditions from July 28 to July 30.
As per the order, shops shall remain open from 7am to 4pm. The COVID test has been made mandatory for all shopkeepers and their staff for opening the shops.
There shall be complete restrictions on opening of shops from July 31 onwards except those selling diary products and vegetables. However, there shall be no restrictions on the movement of commercial vehicles carrying essential commodities and construction material for developmental works during this period, reads the order.
Lead District Manager has been directed to ensure operation of bank branches as per rosters to avoid overcrowding and all the Managers have been directed to ensure usage of masks and adherence to social distancing at ATMs and bank premises.
The concerned ADCs, SDMs and Tehsildars have been ordered to issue rosters for opening upto 50% shops in markets of their respective jurisdictions to avoid large gatherings.
The order firther reads that the restrictions shall remain in force till August 03 or unless modified earlier.
