Kupwara: District Youth President, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Reyaz Ahmad Mir, has extended heartfelt greetings to the people of Jammu & Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW), the revered birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
In his message, Mir said that Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) is an occasion to reflect upon the noble life, teachings and timeless message of the Prophet (SAW), whose life remains an enduring example of compassion, justice, humility, patience and humanity.
“The teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) remind us of the importance of kindness, forgiveness, mutual respect and standing with those in need. His message of peace and brotherhood holds immense relevance in today’s world,” Mir said.
He urged people, particularly the youth, to draw inspiration from the Prophet’s (SAW) exemplary character and incorporate his values into their everyday lives.
Mir also called for strengthening communal harmony, social cohesion and brotherhood across Jammu & Kashmir, saying that the spirit of Milad should inspire people to rise above differences and work collectively for a peaceful and prosperous society.
“On this blessed occasion, let us reaffirm our commitment to peace, unity, compassion and service to humanity. May the blessings of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (SAW) bring peace, prosperity and happiness to every household in J&K,” he added.
He prayed for lasting peace, prosperity and well-being of the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
