A Maruti Alto bearing number JK05E1697 got off-road and fell into Nala at Sohipura village. On receiving a call by Abdul Qadus a team of Jugtial Company rushed to the site and rescued passengers with the help of localities present there. The passengers were extricated and given medical aid by the medical team.
Humdard-E-Kupwara Battalion immediately despatched a recovery vehicle with recovery team to the site. The car was recovered by the team and traffic was brought back to normal.
Timely action by the Unit was appreciated by the locals and the driver. In addition Awam expressed their gratitude towards Army’s earnest endeavour, quick response and timely assistance .
