DM Kupwara inspects various markets for implementation of corona curfew

KUPWARA, MAY 01: District Magistrate Kupwara, Imam Din today visited various markets of Kupwara town and took stock of implementation of corona curfew imposed since yester evening. He was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Nazir Ahmad Lone and ASP, Ifroz Ahmad.
     Talking to media persons, the Deputy Commissioner said that the lockdown has been strictly imposed in the public interest to breakdown the chain of Covid-19 and contain further spread of the pandemic disease, adding that Magistrate and Police teams have been deployed across the district to implement the lockdown in letter and spirit. He appealed the general public not to venture out of their homes unnecessarily except in emergency case.
