The J&K LG has dismissed a Kupwara based teacher from service with immediate effect and stated in the official order that no inquiry would be held in this case

Kupwara,May 1: In a first ever case, the Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Saturday dismissed a government employee was dismissed from service with immediate effect.
The government employee, a teacher by profession belongs to Kralpora in Kupwara district. No further inquiry would be held in this case, the LG directed in his order.
A copy of the order is available with kupwaratimes.com which read:
“…. That in the security of the state, it is not expedient to hold an Enquiry in case of Mr. (Name of the Teacher, name of the school), Kupwara.”
The order read that “…..on the basis of information available that the activities of the Mr. (the teacher) are such as to warrant his dismissal from service…”.
It was further mentioned that the
teacher is being dismissed under Sub-clause (C) of the provision to clause(2) of Article 311 of the Constitution of India.
Earlier in October 2020, the government ammended Jammu and Kashmir’s Civil Service Regulation Rules, which allowed the administration to retire government employees at any time after completing 22 years of service or attaining the age of 48 years, an official said.
The employees can be retired after being given three months notice or three months of pay and allowance in lieu of the notice, the official said.
However in this order, there shall be no enquiry and the employee has been suspended. The order has been forwarded to all the concerned J&K Government officials.
