As the COVID restrictions are easing across the valley and the schools are about to start, a teaching skills capsule was organised for the teachers of AGS Chandigam and Krusan by Army Camp Gujjarpatti.
The event was chaired by Dr Ranjana Pandey who interacted with the teachers and gave them very useful tips as to how to make the teaching sessions more interactive and knowledgeable for the students. She also demonstrated the use of various teaching aids which can be employed to capture the interest of the students. The best practice taught by her according to the attendees was to amalgamate various subjects in teaching of one subject. She also guided the teachers on the importance of patience in dealing with difficult students and how to alleviate the fears of public speaking amidst the students by encouraging them to participate in classrooms.
The event was very much appreciated by the attendees who hoped for more such events in the future.
