Srinagar, June 17: Unknown gunmen on Thursday shot dead a policeman in Saidpora area of Eidgah Srinagar, reports said.
Quoting official sources,reported that a policeman identified as Javeed Ahmad Kambey, son of Ghulam Muhammad Kambey was fired upon by gunmen near his residence in Saidpora.
They said that Kambey received bullet injury in the neck following which he was immediately shifted to SKIMS Soura in critical condition.
However, he succumbed on way to the hospital, sources said. (KNO)
