Srinagar, May 16:(GNS)Militants on Saturday shot dead a policeman in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district.
Sources told GNS the militants attacked a naka party at Frisal Chowk Kulgam, resulting in serious injuries to a policeman, Mohammad Amin Bagad of Sangarwani Pulwama. The policeman, a head constable, was shifted to hospital.
However he was declared brought dead on arrival by the doctors at the hospital, they said.
BMO Quimoh Dr. Abdul Gani told GNS that policeman had bullet injury on head and was declared brought dead on arrival. A police officer confirmed the incident sand said that investigations have been launched. (GNS)
