Kansal urges public not to believe rumours or half -baked news
Srinagar, June 21: Jammu and Kashmir Government on Sunday said that it has not taken any policy decision regarding issuance of fresh liquor licenses in unserved areas in the Union Territory.
“Finance department has not taken any policy decision regarding issuance of fresh liquor licenses in unserved areas. No list of unserved areas has either been considered, “J&K’s Department of Information and Public Relations tweeted.
In another tweet, J&K government spokesman Rohit Kansal urges people not believe rumours or half- baked news. The government issued a clarification after different groups slammed government’s proposed move to open liquor shops in Kashmir.
