Kashmir Premier League T20 Cricket Tournament Pre Qualifier Finals (Kupwara) Held at Galizoo Kupwara.
As part of the celebration of the Swarnim Vijay Varsh 2021 pre qualifier finals were held in Galizoo, Kupwara to select the team which will represent District Kupwara in the Kashmir premier League organised by Srinagar based Chinar Corps.
The event was organised by Indian Army, Kupwara Terriers in collaboration and supervision of District Cricket association Kupwara
The T20 cricket tournament is part of the army’s ‘Operation Sadhbhavana’ – a public outreach campaign. Time and again sports has been used as a medium to bring social change. Be it in India or elsewhere, sports has acted as the fillip and the passport to a better life.
Being played on the lines of the Indian Premier League, the KPL pre qualifier is also a Twenty20 tournament where following 16 teams battled it out to corner glory.

The final match was played between Kupwara A and Kupwara B who reached the finals after winning their respective pool matches.
Kupwara Town B won the match and was declared as man of the match Ishfaq Ah khan, Kupwara B and Bilal Ahmad Ganie, Kupwara Town B was man of the series.
Everyone applauded the efforts and the zeal of the teams for their participation, Commanding Officer, Kupwara Terriers assured the players that such tournaments will continuously be held every year.
He expressed satisfaction with the enthusiasm shown by the people towards the tournament.
