“2000 conifer plants have been kept for sale”, DFO Kamraj

Kupwara : Sale of conifer plants inaugurated at Forest Complex Zangli by DFO Kamraj Zahid Aslam, about 2000 conifer plants have been kept for sale.
While talking to DFO Kamraj, Zahid Aslam Said, that the sale of conifer plants has been given a kick start for afforestation of urban areas so as to make greening Kupwara. The conifers are available for general public at a highly subsidized rate of Rs 13.50 per sapling and are being kept available for public till March 31.
” A quality stock of conifer plants are available for sale at nominal cost for general public of Kupwara to give fillip greening of urban areas of Kupwara” Zahid said .
