Kupwara: After receiving a massive Snowfall in snowbound Machil area, several residents of Machil have got stuck here in district kupwara aiming inclement weather. The residents have sought the attention of District Authorities of Kupwara to airlift the stucked families to their respective localities.
Taking a strong note of the issue, prominent Social Activist Er Mudasir on thursday urged the district administration Kupwara as well as LG administration to help the families of Machil who are residing a life of uncertainty here in the district.
Er Mudasir while communicating said that the families from snowbound Machil area who are stuck here in the district from last couple of months should be airlifted to their respective localities on humanitarian basis within the short term”,
He also requested the district administration Kupwara to play a pivotal role in airlifting the families of Machil, like Karnah residents were taken up in air days ago.”, Adding also “the roads should be made accessible to this border area within a short span of time”,
It is pertinent to mention that the residents of Machil have gathered in dc complex Kupwara and seek the personal intervention of district administration. They have made repeated requests to administration to airlift them to their valley but no avail as of now”,
