Kupwara,March 13: Alleging that newly elected District Development Council members, are elected for representation of people and not to fight for their “personal gains” and tussle with the government, Senior political leader, Din Mohd Cheetah said they must take part in training to resolve issues of people.
Senior political leader Din Mohd Cheeta has condemned the protest of DDC members of all parties in Jammu where they were scheduled to take part in a training programme organised by the government which was meant to train them about how to bring development and to solve the problems of their own people in their concerned areas.
“Instead of raising demands to make their areas better for people and to work for upliftment of people, they protested to seek better status and honorarium.Its disappointing to see how these representatives elected by the common people are megalomaniac and covetous, showing their resemblance to previous representatives”, alleged Cheetah.
Pertinent to mention here, DDC members were protesting against government for new protocols given to DDC members.
