DDC Kupwara reviews progress of key indicators under ADP

KUPWARA, JANUARY 03: District Development Commissioner (DDC), Kupwara, Imam Din today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review  the key indicators of Aspirational District Programme (ADP).
It was informed in the meeting that the district was  awarded Rs.3 crore cash under ADP during last year for achieving first rank out of 112 districts in the country.
The meeting held threadbare discussion regarding the guidelines laid down by NITI AYOG for implementation of Aspirational District Programme across the district.
It was given out in the meeting that Most Backward Blocks(MBB) in the district have been identified for necessary upliftment on development picture.
The DDC directed the concerned officers to work on poor performance indicators in MSBs in the district. He asked them for proper coordination to keep the first rank of the district intact.
Earlier, the DDC was apprised about the progress achieved under the ADP by the concerned departments till date.
ADC Kupwara, Nazir Ahmad Lone; JD Planning, ACD, CMO, DPO and other concerned attended the meeting.
