There’s hardly anything new in the fact that Kangna Ranaut uses abusive language against anyone who extends support to farmers.
The actress recently took to Twitter and called farmers ‘terrorists’ after world famous Pop Singer, Rihanna tweeted in support of Farmers.
In a reply to Rihanna tweet, where she mentioned a story by CNN on Internet ban in Haryana, Kangna replied,
“No one is talking about it because they are not farmers they are terrorists who are trying to divide India, so that China………..
Sit down you fool, we are not selling our nation like you dummies”.
Not only the pro-BJP TV channels and online media organizations, even online website of NDTV, widely believed to giving ‘Pro-Farmers” news used “Sit down fool” as headline to show Kangna being only ‘Pro Indian’.
Interestingly, it was Centre government’s statement on farm laws in the parliament over global support for farmers, that ‘India against Propaganda’ started trending on twitter and Kangana emerged on the scene.
Netizens questioned Kangna’s statement for calling Farmers “Terrorists” while almost every mainstream news channel used her tweet to counter International celebrities support to “Indian Farmers”.
This is not the first time that Kangana has termed farmers as ‘terrorists’, she had earlier also called them ‘Khalistanis’, after which she faced severe backlash from twitterati and the actress was on the back foot.
From Aaj Tak, ABP News, Republic, Zee News to other pro digital media platforms, all were seen going gaga over Kangana’s ‘terrorist’ tweet for farmers. Generally termed as ‘Godi Media’ in local parlance, the pro government news channels amplified Kangana’s tweet and her views on farmers protest.
As if this was not enough, Kangana also indulged in verbal spat with ace Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh and ended up terming him as a paid Rs 2 tweet singer.
Twitterati was seen retweeting Rihanna’s tweet, hence increasing her followers within 24 hours. Netizens were again seen comparing the number of Rihanna’s followers with that of Kangana Ranaut, leading to further war of words throughout the day.
