KUPWARA, AUGUST 1: Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Imam Din today visited Sub District Hospital Kupwara to see and enquire about the health condition of number of patients who were admitted in the hospital, because of food poisoning.
The Deputy Commissioner interacted with the patients and enquired about the facilities being provided by the hospital administration. The Deputy Commissioner also interacted with doctors on duty and directed them to provide better healthcare facilities to the patients.
On the occasion, Deputy Commissioner was informed that 35 persons of Mirnaag Hyhama village were admitted in the hospital complaining of food poisoning. The patients were given instant treatment and provided all possible facilities.
The Deputy Commissioner was informed that the Rapid Response Team of IDSP and Block Rapid Response Team (RRT) and other doctors also visited the place and got all requisite sampling for further analysis.
Meanwhile Deputy Commissioner constituted a team of Doctors/Paramedical Staff headed by CMO/DHO to monitor the situation .
