Kupwara, Oct 18: Anees Ahmad Wani (KAS) today assumed the charge of ARTO Kupwara.
While chairing a meeting of officers, Anees Wani (KAS) reviewed the problems related to traffic management in the district. He held detailed discussions with the officers of the department and was briefed about various steps being taken to improve the traffic management system in the district.
He said that ensuring safety on roads and institutionalizing professional planning in the domain of traffic management will be the top priority. He further said that those caught violating traffic rules would be dealt with strictly as per law.
It is pertinent to mention here that ARTO’s position was vaccant for last two months in the district.
