Kupwara:- The North Lolab Range of Kamraj Forest Division retrieved 57 kanals of encroached land in Co.4 & 6/NL of Patushai Block, Shumriyaal area of North Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Thursday.
According to an official, the team led by Range Officer North Lolab, Parvaiz Ahmad Bhat , BO Patushai, Other BO’s of NL along with staff of Patushai block & Cherkoote .
In the operation, around 57 kanals of land were freed from encroachment in Compartment No’s 4&6 NL of Patushai block.
Parvaiz Ahmad Bhat Range Officer North Lolab said, the Divisional Forest Officer, Kamraj Kupwara has given explicit directions to all the Range Officers of Kamraj to continue the forest land retrieval drives with renewed vigour and there should be no let up till the entire encroached forest land is retrieved.
The entire operation was conducted under the supervision of Range Officer North Lolab.
