On the eve of World Vaccination Day a health awareness camp was organised by Humdard-E-Kupwara Battalion in conjunction with Kalaroos Hospital. A medical team of 3 doctors including lady doctor led by Dr Ashraf from Kalaroos Hospital educated the Awam on Immunisation Program of new born baby and importance of COVID vaccination drive. The medical team also clarified general apprehensions and misconceptions of Awam with respect to COVID Vaccination.

Abdul Rashid, BDC, Kalaroos urged the people to maintain basic hygeine at home and requested the Medical team to have a COVID vaccination camp in Muhri and Nagsari as and when Govt starts the drive for common people. He also requested the medical team and Army to organise a medical camp on regular basis as people find it difficult to visit hospital due to connectivity issue.

The medical teams from Army and Kalaroos Hospital also conducted Medical Camp and approximately 50 patients were attended to. It was also agreed during the event that Kalaroos Hospital with the help of Humdard-E-Kupwara willl be conducting medical camps for the area in coming weeks.

A str of approximately 150 men and women attended the event. In the end Village Games were also organised for children of Nagsari School and winners were facilitated. The event was attended by all Sarpanchs, Headmaster and teachers from Higher Secondary School Nagsari.
