Kupwara police has arrested three persons involved in peddling of drugs in Kralpora area of the district. Acting on a specific information, a police team of Police Station Kralpora led by SHO Waseem Ahmad laid a naka at Wasulkhatu Kralpora and intercepted the trio while transporting the narcotics. The peddlers have been identified as Asghar Ali Khan son of Gh Hassan resident of Meelyal,
Mohammad Ashraf Mir son of Gh Ahmed Mir of Kralpora and Jahangir Ahmed Malik son of Mohammad Sultan Malik a resident of Malik Mohalla Kralpora from whom approximately 32 grams of brown sugar like banned substance and 22 grams of charas was recovered. Case FIR No. 24/2022 under sections 8/20,21 & 29 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Kralpora and investigations taken up.
