Kupwara : Chairman MC Kupwara Reyaz Mir in his statement said that the decision to stop OPD/ emergency services in SDH Kupwara was taken in haste and that SDH Kupwara caters to a large population of Kupwara and stopping these services is unjustified. Administration could have used SDH Langate for COVID hospital and it was only two kms from district hospital Handwara.
He further stated that “I appeal to our district development commissioner Kupwara that please use either EsBee hospital Regipora for emergency services or make some alternate arrangements so that people don’t suffer for treatment”. He also appealed to use quality care hospital for dialysis patients as they have facilities available there.
