Karnah August 7: Atleast six people were injured and three are believed to be critical in Indo-Pak Armies cross border shelling in Karnah Sector.
SSP KUPWARA, Shriram Ambarkar told Kupwara Times, that six people are injured while three are critical and have been shifted to Srinagar.
Army official sources said that Pakistani rangers started shelling in the morning on Friday in the foreward areas of Karnah near LOC.The six people injured have been identified as:Hamida Begum (42), Zakir Khan and Naseer Ahmad Khan (24) all residents of Rangwar. Police officials said all were shifted to SDH Kralpora immediately, while as the woman has been shifted to Srinagar and is believed to have received severe injuries.The other injured people from Karnah are;Mohammad Arif,Mohammad Yaqoob, and Syed Rafaqat.
Meanwhile army officials confirmed to the news gathering agency GNS, that Pakistani troops also violated ceasefire in Uri sector in Baramula District.
