Second Phase of B2V4 concludes in Kupwara district, 128 Gram Panchayats covered

KUPWARA, NOVEMBER 1: The second phase of Back to Village 4 (B2V4) concluded today in 128 Gram Panchayats of Kupwara district with great satisfaction. 
        The District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kupwara, Doifode Sagar Dattatray himself visited various Gram Panchayats of the district to personally monitor the proceedings of the ambitious Back to Village Programme. He was accompanied by ACD Kupwara, Hilal Ahmad Mir and other concerned officers.
           During the visit to Higher Secondary School Herri in Qadirabad block,  the DDC interacted with PRIs, youth and  public and heard their day to day developmental issues.
    The DDC also distributed sports kits among the youth.
              The DDC also took stock of the ongoing developmental works in the area.
             The DDC expressed satisfaction over the large scale public participation in the programmes across the district and said that the B2V4 exercise has provided a strong database for sustainable development of the district.
             The DDC said that Visiting Officers were already given directions to sensitize people for option of new and innovative schemes with special attention to employment generation in the Gram Panchayats.  He said educated unemployed youth are being identified in each Gram Panchayat for setting up their self-employment generating units with complete facilitation from the Administration under single window management system.
               The DDC said that two phases of B2V4 concluded with a good public response. He urged upon the public to participate vehemently in  third and final phase, commencing from Tomorrow  and register their demands before the visiting teams.
             He said that representatives from various departments have been deployed to the Panchayats to brief the people regarding  different schemes including Aapki Zameen Aapki Nigraani, land passbooks and other e-services being provided by the Government.
               The designated Visiting Officers along with supporting staff stayed 2 days and one night in respective Gram Panchayats, received first hand information from  public and PRIs regarding developmental works and prepared proposals for Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP) as per the wishes of people of the concerned Gram Panchayat.
        During the 2 day course of stay in Gram Panchayats, the visiting officers approached all people from different walks of life and distributed various items among them as goodwill gesture from the Government. Moreover, awareness was disseminated to the people regarding Individual Beneficiary Oriented Schemes (IBOS).
