Kupwara: During the visit of Lieutenant Governor UT of J&K , while listening to the delegation presided over by the Reyaz Ahmad Mir President Municipal Council Kupwara has put forth few demands before the Lieutenant Governor macadamization of remaining 5 Km of Town, Identification of Land for Solid Waste Management, Recruitment of Addl. Sweepers, Transfer of State Land to Municipal Council Kupwara, Beautification of two Heritage Nalahs and augmentation of District Hospital Kupwara. The Lieutenant Governor has given patient hearing and resolved all the matters on spot especially has directed Chief Engineer R&B Kashmir for starting the macadamization of Town.
While as, the Deputy Commissioner Kupwara has been directed for proceeding ahead regarding Solid Waste Management.
