Kupwara: – The residents of Ward 4, Dudwan, in Kupwara town have raised serious concerns over the absence of streetlights along key roads, particularly from the FishPoint Bridge via KPS Road up to the BabaFatullah Shrine. This situation has caused significant inconvenience, making nighttime commuting a challenge.
Local residents report facing immense hardships due to the lack of illumination, with the ward plunging into darkness as soon as dusk sets in. Despite repeated appeals, authorities have yet to address the issue, leaving the community in a precarious situation.
Residents have urgently appealed to the Kupwara Administration to address this grievance and install streetlights where needed to ensure safe and secure travel during nighttime hours.
