Kupwara August 20: The Member of Parliament Lok Sabha for Baramulla Parlimentry constituency Mohammad Akbar Lone has nominated noted Rights Actvist cum Journalist Rasikh Rasool Bhat as Member for the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee
(DISHA) Kupwara.
Rasikh Rasool being an Reputed Rights Activist cum Journalist in Kupwara District has vast experience related to central and UT sponsored schemes and its implementation acceptors on ground zero.
Various social, Political Activists and religious preachers of Kupwara District hails the authorities’s nomination move of Rasikh Rasool as member of the DISHA committee.
Keeping in view his passion in Public Policy ,Rights Activism ,Anti corruption crusade, Good and Accountable Governance his nomination as member in DISHA committee has rejuvenated hopes among public.
Brief introduction of Rasikh Rasool:
Rasikh Rasool Bhat 32 is a Young Rights Actvist cum Journalist from Kupwara district is originally hailing from Ahgam village of Rajwar Area , soon after completion of his Graduation he has started his own Daily Newspaper in the year 2011,which is non operation in current date ,he has also worked for various National and local news organisation and has specialisation in Investigative Journalism besides he is an active Rights Activist in J&K since a decade and had unearthed various scams in J&K apart from successfully facilitating
justice to various victims
or NOKs of victims in different cases from different courts of the law at State/UT and National level.
Rasikh Rasool is a strong voice against corruption, and rigours campaigner for good governance not only in Kupwara District but in the almost Districts of J&K. While at various occasions his name has also surfaced in the support of right-full campaigns of minorities living in the India.
He is often being seen loggerheads with politicians and bureaucrats for the sake of Accountability and transparency in the Governance deliverance system and is survivor of various kinds of small attacks and different kinds of harassments.
Mr Rasikh is District Coordinator of One of the J&K’s Reputed NGO called Jammu & Kashmir RTI Movement,while at very young age of 21 Rasikh Rasool also happened Executive Member in Kashmir Editors Association and he is currently associated with various Volunteer and Civil society organisations and working as freelance Investigative Journalist.
