Emphasizes Bridging Communication Gaps for Effective Public Issue Resolution
Inaugurates Border Block Library at Sogam
KUPWARA – Principal Secretary Culture, Suresh Kumar Gupta, emphasized the importance of bridging communication gaps among officers and departments to resolve public issues effectively. Speaking at a Public Darbar held at Environmental Hall Handwara, Gupta highlighted that inadequate information flow often creates communication barriers, hindering community issue resolution.
During the Darbar, citizens raised concerns about drinking water supply, drainage and sanitation, tribal population challenges, power infrastructure, road widening, and improved connectivity. Gupta assured that genuine concerns would be prioritized and addressed, particularly those related to the Jal Jeevan Mission.
Gupta encouraged the public to avail themselves of Central and J&K Government schemes and urged officers to ensure effective dissemination of scheme information.
Key attendees included Chairman DDC Kupwara, Irfan Sultan Panditpori, Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan, Director Libraries, Mohd Rafi, and ADC Handwara, Aziz Ahmad Rather.
Gupta also e-inaugurated a footbridge at Putwari Nallah and an Anganwadi center at Cachri B. Later, he inaugurated a Border Block Library at Sogam in the presence of officials and citizens.
