Polling Staff along with material deployed for DDC constituencies of Qadirabad, Rajwar

Zonal, Sectoral Magistrates meeting held at Kupwara

KUPWARA, DECEMBER 09: In order to facilitate smooth conduct of election in 02 DDC constituencies of Qadirabad and Rajwar in Kupwara district, the authorities today detailed Polling Staff alongwith material to the concerned polling stations.
     For DDC constituency Qadirabad, election material was distributed among the polling parties at DPL Kupwara. While as, election material for DDC Rajwar was distributed at ITI Handwara. The polling material was distributed umder the supervision of concerned ROs and Nodal Officers.
      Meanwhile, a joint meeting of Zonal & Sectoral Magistrates and Zonal & Sectoral Police officers appointed for phase fifth DDC and Panchayat by-election in Kupwara district was today held here under the chairmanship of concerned Nodal Officer, SDM Lolab, Aijaz Ahmad Bhat.
   On the occasion, the Nodal officer urged upon the magistrates and police officers to coordinate themselves and reach their polling destinations by 4PM today and also ensure that polling starts at 7AM sharp and shall close at 02 PM tomorrow (December 10), polling day.
     During the meeting the concerned officers were sensitized for smooth and fair conduct of the election.
    Among others, ARTO Kupwara, Zonal and sectoral magistrates for phase fifth were present in the meeting.
