A pedestrian died after he was hit by a speedy sumo in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Monday.
A police official said that the accident took place in Batergam when a pedestrian was hit by speedy sumo.
In the incident an elderly man lost his life, he said.
The deceased octogenarian was identified as Mohammad Abdullah Mir from Batergam Kupwara.
“A case has been lodged regarding this incident and further investigation initiated,” he said.
