Handwara Feb 7: The Former Journalist turned Politician Rasikh Rasool Bhat rued over pathetic condition of General Bus stand Handwara.
Rasikh said “Since the year 2014 Handwara town has witnessed bad Governance in terms of development, The National conference under the Dynamic Leadership from Handwara Chowdary Mohammad Ramzan during his regime has gifted Handwara a vast bus stand so that transporters and general Public can feel comfort in travelling and shopping fronts , However the concerned leadership since 2014 till date including Municipal Authority Handwara has turned this bus stand into garbage cumulation spot. It is causing tremendous problems to public to walk through this particular Bus stand .
Lot of path-holes in this bus stand is annoying the public/commuters while the divots in the asphalt are causing havoc on vehicles.
There are no toilet and drinking water facilities available at bus-stand as well, Rasikh said.
Rasikh has asked the administration to look into this grave issue and come up with remedies to ease the suffering of people.
