KUPWARA,Oct 31 : On National Unity Day 2023, (Rashtrya Ekta Divas), the Deputy Commisioner (DC)Kupwara Ms. Ayushi Sudan on Tuesday flagged off a Mega Rally from DC Office complex Kupwara.
Rally (Run for Unity), carrying national flags passed through Martyrs Memorial( Fountain Chowk Rigipora) finally culminated at Zangli Park Kupwara which covered a distance of 2 kms.
This mega rally was organized by District Administration Kupwara in which DC Kupwara, SSP Kupwara, ADDC Kupwara, ADC Kupwara, ACD Kupwara, PRIs, ULBs, District Officers, Sectoral officers, employees of different departments, Police personel and students in a large number participated which infused a sense of patriotism and nationalistic fervor.
The Deputy Commisioner Kupwara Ms. Ayushi Sudan administered a pledge on the ocasion of National Unity Day at Zangli Park to hundreds of participants, embodying their commitment to uphold the nation’s value and to preserve the unity, integrity, and security of the nation. On the occasion DC also handed over land allotment orders among landless PMAY(G) beneficiaries of Kupwara district
Earlier, a plantation drive in the lawns of DC Office Complex Kupwara was conducted where DC Kupwara, SSP Kupwara, ADDC, ADC and other Officers participated in the drive by planting, plant saplings.
