Mission Shakti Kupwara Celebrates International Girl Child Day — Promotes Education, Inclusion, and Empowerment

KUPWARA OCTOBER 11
The SHEW–Mission Shakti Kupwara today celebrated International Girl Child Day with great enthusiasm at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Salkoot Kupwara. The event was held under the theme “Empowered Girls, Empowered Nation”, highlighting the importance of education, inclusion, and equal opportunity for every girl.

During the function, tablets were distributed among girl toppers as a token of encouragement for their academic excellence, while smartphones were provided to girls with special needs to support digital accessibility and learning. The initiative reflects the district administration’s continued commitment towards fostering empowerment and creating an inclusive environment for all girls.

The programme witnessed active participation of students, teachers, and members of Mission Shakti, who collectively reaffirmed their pledge to stand for every girl’s right to dream, learn, and lead.
