Srinagar, July 30 : PDP MP Fayaz Ahmed Mir today criticized the Government for ‘unjustified’ extension in detention of former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti.
Speaking to KNS, PDP MP said former Chief Minister is being victimized for her views and today’s decision again reflects the intolerance of present dispensation with the people who dare speak truth to the power.
” It is against the basic principles of Democracy to detain a woman former Chief Minister for more than a year for holding views opposite to the private dispensation and trying to show mirror to the present Government,” he said.
