Kupwara:- Municipal Committee Kupwara Chairman Reyaz Ahmad Mir today extended greetings to people on the commencement of Holy month and prayed for their wellbeing.
Mir, wished people and very prosperous Holy month, hoping that the pious month of fasting will bring smile on the faces of the people.
“During prevailing coronavirus crisis, Ramdhan teaches us compassion and generosity. We should also appreciate and recognize the work of Police, health workers, and sanitation, who are risking their lives for our future,” he said.
Mir also emphasized to provide uninterrupted power supply, ration, and other supplies, so that people would not suffer in the holly month.
Mir also urged Lt. Governor J&K UT to bring back the people who are still stranded in various State to their places due to lockdown, ensuring that they join their families on this auspicious occasion.
