Srinagar,August 28: Jammu and Kashmir Lecturers forum under the chairmanship of it’s UT President Syed Fayaz called on worthy Director School Education Kashmir Dr. Tasaduk Hussian Mir….briefed worthy Director School Education about the necessary initiatives required to be takenup to bridge the learning loss caused due to long closure of schools.
The Jammu and Kashmir lecturers forum under the chairmanship of it’s UT level president Syed Fayaz today called on worthy Director school education Kashmir to discuss some important issues emerging out of the long closure of schools due to COVID-19 pandemic especially the learning loss of the students.
A threadbare discussion was held on the efforts being put up by the lecturer fraternity in ensuring continuity of Education and steps required to be initiated to bridge the learning loss caused due to long closure of the institutions.Discussion was also held on the issues and challenges with regard to the implementation of NEP 2020 and some concrete suggestions were placed before worthy Director to this effect by the Honourable President.Worthy DSEK desired the participation of honourable president J&K lecturers Forum and other members of the forum in the upcoming programme on implementatin of NEP 2020 in J&K to be organized by directorate of school education Kashmir.
Honourable President lauded the vibrant work culture being created in the Directorate of School Education Kashmir under the leadership of worthy Director.” Under the dynamic and abled leadership of worthy Principal Secretary School Education Shri B. K.Singh and with most competent Directors at divisional level,the lecturer community is hopeful to see the department scaling new heights,which guarantee quality education to all,Syed Fayaz said.
Certain important issues the lecturer fraternity is confronted with also came under discussion, especially the inaccuracy in data collection and it’s submission.Worthy Director sahb was given a brief note of the consequences the fraternity faces due to the Non-availibility of exact data with the administrative department,especially in terms of fixation of seniority,elevation to higher level.The Forum sort the help of worthy Director in fulfilment of long pending issue of ACP.The charge allowances denied to some section of lecturers and those who have been elevated as lecturers and Headmasters are waiting for adjustment from last two years also came under discussion.
Worthy Director sahb assured the delegation of his wholehearted support in resolution of these issues.
Earlier,during the introductory session,Mir Fayaz,General Secretary of J&K Lecturers Forum introduced newly elected body to worthy Director and gave detailed account of the services rendered by the Forum for the better education of students.
Other speakers who spoke on the occasion include sr.VP Shakeel A Bhat, Chief Organiser H. S. Pali,DP Pulwama Javid Iqbal and DP Srinagar Fida Gulzar Ahmad,who in their address hailed the efforts of worthy Director School Education,especially his employee friendly attitude and the productive steps taken under his dynamic leadership especially in ensuring the continuity of Education with all qualitative aspects in place.
Among others who attended the meeting include Farooq A Mir DP Baramulla,Mr.Mushtaq Ahmad,Bashir Ahmad Shiekh,Khursheed Ahmad,Hilal Ahmad Gora,Firdous Hussian,Gh Hassan Mir,Rayees Abdulla,Nazir Ahmad,Mohd Shafi and others.
