In yet another success against the drugs peddling syndicate in the district, Kupwara Police has arrested two more drug peddlers today from Tikker area of Police Station Kupwara. Acting on a specific information, a team of Police Station Kupwara led by its SHO Inspector Mohammed Rafiq Lone laid a naka and intercepted two drug peddlers namely
namely Sajad Ahmed Lone @Sajad Puj son of Gulam Mohd Lone and Reyaz Ahmed Lone son of Khazir Mohd Lone both residents of Kalaroos Lashtyal at Tikker. Upon their individual search, 20 grams of brown sugar like banned narcotics substance was recovered from the duo and case FIR No. 158/22 under sections 8/21,29 NDPS Act registered at Police Station Kupwara. More arrests in the case are expected in the coming days.
