A certificate distribution ceremony for the graduating students from ‘Hunar se rozgar tak program’ was held at Patahirri today.
Col Swaraj Bhattacharya Commanding Officer Kupwara Terriers congratulated the passing out batch and encouraged the girls to follow the mantra “hard work which is the essence of success!” He further mentioned that he felt confident that all the students will make every worthwhile contribution to their family and bring name to their community as well.
The inspiring deliverances were followed by distribution of certificates to 29 graduating students from HSRT Kralpora centre. The students enthusiastically participated in the ceremony where they received their certificates from Mrs Shilvi Bhattacharya on successful completion of the course for Multi cuisine chef.
The ceremony was followed by an interactive session over bites and beverages, the students interacted with ladies from Kupwara terriers and the conversation revolved around reminiscing shared memories, exchange of details as well as promises to meet up.
Hunar se rozgar tak scheme is a joint initiative of Indian Army and Food Craft Institute Jammu under Dept of Skill development UT of J&K. Under this scheme candidates receive free vocational training for three months and assured job placement on successful completion of the course.
Various courses (F&B services, Front office associates Room attendants and Multi cuisine chef) are running successfully at Drugmulla, Hirri and Kralpora.
