Led by SSP Kupwara Yougal Manhas, different teams of police officers of district Kupwara visited families of Police Martyrs of the district to take stock of the welfare measures and also to find out greiviences, if any. SSP Kupwara visited the family of police martyr Mohammad Yousuf Bajad at Marhama Trehgam who attained martyrdom in February this year in Baghat Srinagar.
The officers while interacting with the NOK’s of martyr’s assured them of every possible help and lauded the role played by their loved ones in upholding the sovereignity of nation by sacrificing their lives. While expressing their gratitude, the officers added that J&K police will always remain indebted to these martyrs who helped a great deal in creating the atmosphere of peace & tranquility in the Jammu and Kashmir . The visiting officers while appreciating the supreme sacrifices of these martyrs emphasised their families to consider police department as their family and share their problems whenever need arises. Adding that JK Police will be with them through their thick and thin. During interaction, various grievances were raised by these families, who were assured positively by these officers about the redressal.
These families of martyrs expressed satisfaction and hoped to further strengthen this bond and work together for the common cause of securing peace in the Jammu and Kashmir.
Other officers from the district who visited families of martyrs include ASP Kupwara Pardeep Singh, DySP Hqrs Kupwara Rashid younis, DySP DAR Kupwara Sarfaraz Bashir besides SHOs and ICPP’s.
