Mudasir Fazal S/O Ch. Fazal u Din Dedad, youth from Goose Kupwara created history by cracking all India level exam and got selected as Assistant manager (legal) in Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
This achievement is first of it’s kind as there were only 35 vacancies on all India level and Mudasir, being a boy from a backward background, qualified for the post after fighting various odds.
Speaking about his struggle, the cousin of Mudasir- Reyaz Mehmood Kalgan, a noted teacher and leader of teachers trade union , told us that Mudasir has been an epitome of hardwork and he serves an example for those who want to compete in such exams in future.
Mudasir had his schooling upto secondary from his native district and he graduated in law from central University . He qualified various UPSC and JKPSC written exams and got dropped at viva level.
It’s pertinent to mention that SEBI is a statutory regulatory body established on the 12th of April, 1992. It monitors and regulates the Indian capital and securities market while ensuring to protect the interests of the investors, formulating regulations and guidelines.
It’s a matter of pride and honour for whole J&K in general and for Kupwara in particular. ( kupwaratimes.com)
