District Administration Kupwara issues advisory
Kupwara, Dec 27, District administration Kupwara has advised drivers of passenger and private vehicles of Kupwara district to equip their vehicles with anti-skid chains during snowfall.
Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan in a latest weather advisory said that no vehicle shall be allowed to ply on the roads of high altitude areas without anti-skid chains with an aim to avoid road mishaps.
Further the travellers/ tourists intending to travel on Kupwara- Tangdar, Keran, Machil, Jumgund, and Kamkadee roads shall not move before verifying the condition of the roads leading to these areas.
All the security agencies, traffic/ Police personnel are instructed to observe strict compliance to this advisory.
