Kupwara, June 21: To bust the myths about covid vaccines,Kupwara Action Group, in association with Ehsaas International supported by Goonjh held a covid vaccine awareness program in different villages of Kupwara district.
Dr. Aarthi Kannan, MD Internal Medicines, busted myths and misinformation related to covid-19 vaccines. She also heard people about their apprehension for not taking vaccine.
People from these villages asked questions regarding the vaccine apprehension and were thoroughly explained by the Dr. Aarthi as to why vaccine is important and how it will prevent a person to get sever illness.
The health department officials and workers also participated in the awareness program and asked people to come forward and get vaccinated which is free of cost.
