Kupwara: The OMR based examination for the posts of Accounts Assistant (Finance) conducted by JKSSB concluded smoothly today here at Kupwara.
According to officals, about 3512 aspirants appeared at 46 centers that were set up across the district Kupwara.
To ensure smooth conduct of exams and to have first-hand appraisal of the facilities made available for aspirants, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara Ayushi Sudan today inspected various examination centers setup in the district.
On the occasion, she enquired about the facilities made available for the candidates including seating , heating arrangements, cleanliness, drinking water and electricity.
It was informed that elaborated arrangements were put in place to ensure smooth conduct of examination across all the centers.
It is pertinent to mention here, after 2019 Kupwara district is hosting first time JKSSB Exams , second one respectively.
Aspirants as well as their parents hailed the District Administration Kupwara and LG Govt JK for conducting smoothly exams in Kupwara district. As earlier Kupwara aspirants were forced to move Srinagar for appearing in competitive exams .
