Keran, September 28: Most thrilling and awaited event of Keran Mela , tug of war started on 26 sep 21 with zeal and enthusiasm. The event has importance for being being organised in the far off beautiful Keran Valley near Line of Control.
As many as six local teams participated including one of LC porter team. All the teams are trying best to showcase their strength and win the event also trying to showcase their raw muscle power /strength and team sprit.
Huge crowd gathered ( most of them aged and elderly) to encourage and support their village teams. This event is acting as a good engagement for local population in sports activity
Very high standard of team sprit, winning sprit ,zeal and enthusiasm was shown by all teams.
Final match will be conducted on the final day of keran Mela . The winners would be rewarded and all teams are likely to get encouraged for future events locals and at bigger platforms too. The players are also expected to learn discipline with this kind of activity.
