Irfan Pandithpuri met LG for development;joins hands with G20 delegates to boost tourism

The recently held meeting of G20 delegates at SKICC Srinagar witnessed an unprecedented gathering of the DDC Chairman’s and chairpersons from across Jammu & Kashmir. The primary agenda of the meet was to discuss ways to boost tourism in the UT, which has been hit hard by the pandemic in recent times.

The highlight of the event was DDC Chairman Kupwara Irfan Sultan Pandithpori’s meeting with the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. The two leaders discussed a wide range of development issues that require attention to take the tourism industry in the UT to the next level.

With the active participation of local leaders, the G20 delegates took note of the enormous potential of the UT’s tourism industry and assured to extend all possible support to make it a global tourism hub. The DDC Chairpersons also shared their perspectives and insights on different aspects of the tourism sector.

Overall, the meeting marked a significant step towards putting Jammu & Kashmir on the global tourism map. The outcome of the meet is expected to usher in a new era of progress and prosperity for the people of the UT, especially those associated with the tourism industry.
