Kupwara,June 18: Army in its constant endeavour to reachout to its veterans and their dependents, extended its support and carried out a Vaccination Drive for the general Awam in Rangwar & Badi Bhaik Village, Chowkibal .
In combating the deadly Corona virus, the vaccine is a potent weapon and presently all adults above 18 years must get vaccinated to ward off the virus effectively.
168 Military Hospital and SDH Kupwara in collaboration with Thunderbolt Gunners worked on the data of eligible people for over a week and reached out to them both via telephone and door to door to spread awareness and general information on the vaccination process. Almost 113 people turned out for the drive which comprised of 72 Male and 41 Female.
Alongwith with Vaccination, a medical camp was also conducted for them with distribution of free medicines . Cases of major ailments were noted for consultancy in future by the doctors.
Sarpanch Chowkibal and all villagers thanked VAJR DIVISION and the team of Doctors on Foot of 168 Military Hospital and SDH Kupwara for the efforts taken by the medical team to reach to them.
