Inam Un Nabi urges transport sector in Kashmir not to go for strike

Srinagar, Feb 21 : Veteran Social activist and TV Debater nam Un Nabi has urged the transporters to not to go for indefinite strike from 24 February ,2021 as stated by them already .

He said transporters and people of Kashmir have already suffered immensely due to ragging pandemic of Coronavirus and the often political upheaval that any further strikes would dent us in a very bad manner .

Inam urged the Government of Jammu and Kashmir especially the Leituant Governor Manoj Sinha to immediately solve the wide ranging issues of transporters .

He observed : “Series of Genuine issues of the transport sector in Jammu and Kashmir especially Kashmir valley remain unaddressed.Need to increase in fare , waiver off token tax from 5th August , support in condemnation amount of Sumo and Auto
Long pending Replacement issues etc. Pending with RTAs need immediate solution .”

Inam hoped that the transport association would adopt a path of sanity and meaningful dialogue and Government too would take the path of logic and compassion and put an end to the atmosphere of looming transport strike in Kashmir
