Handwara,October 22: Although political activity in Jammu and Kashmir came to a halt since the scrapping of Article 370 on 5 August last year,especially for mainstream parties of the Kashmir valley,the BJP is working hard to make a strong cadre, particularly in North Kashmir.
Various prominent political activists and enthusiastic workers from different regional parties continues to dominate the strength of BJP to root out the political hegemony from the valley. Interestingly, in presence of BJP senior leader Javid Ahmad Qurashi today at the event which was held at DAK BUNGALOW Handwara;regional party workers from Langate,Rajwar,Ramhal,Deedarpora and Magam joined the party reads a statement.
On this occasion Javid Qurashi stressed that BJP is going about the task of building the party in the State in an aggressive mode. With increased confidence levels in the party and recent Act of abrogation of Article 370 has got the BJP a positive image among the people.
“We are hopeful that we can show impressive results in panchayat election and assembly elections too”. But now,the BJP is confident that it can achieve its dream of forming a majority government in J&K, given the inroads it has made into the Valley and the delimitation exercise currently taking place which is redrawing the constituency maps.
He further said, “Our cadres have worked hard and the efforts made by them in the last year are showing results but yes, the absence of negative forces have helped the BJP to show Kashmiris the possibilities of a better future”.
Addressing the gathering he strongly stressed on the event that Gupkar agenda is a failure and people of J&K will don’t give damn to it.
“We will not allow their Gupkar agenda and won’t let them vitiate the atmosphere in Jammu and Kashmir again”, Javid Qureshi said
