Govt Orders Extension in Filing of APRs

Srinagar, Jan 31 : The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has announced extension in the filing of Annual Property Returns (APRs) – for the year 2021 – to its employees, citing that many haven’t been able to meet the deadline of January 31, 2022 owing to a number of reasons.

A notification in this regard reads; “Vide Circular No. 56-JK(GAD) of 2021 dated 22.12.2021, detailed instructions were issued to all the employees to register themselves on the PRS Portal and subsequently file their annual property returns for the year 2021 necessarily, on the portal from 15t of January, 2022 upto 315t of January, 2022. The submission of the returns was thus supposed to be closed on 31.01.2022.”

“However, it has been observed that various employees have not been able to submit their property returns due to a number of reasons. Further, requests have been received by the General Administration Department for extension of date of submission of property returns”, the notification reads.

“The matter has been considered in the General Administration Department and accordingly, the last date for submission of Property Returns through online mode by the employees is hereby extended upto 15.02.2022.”

“Further, the DDOs of Corporations/PSUs etc are directed to register the employees working under their establishment using ‘DDO Registration’ option on Property Returns Portal, using their existing DDO credentials, so that the employees get registered and are able to file their Annual Property Returns through PRS portal. (For any query regarding this, the DDOs of Corporations/PSUs may contact on Mobile Number- 9906204222”, it reads.

“Besides, for queries related to editing of the submitted forms, employees can send their requests on e-mail id – support.prs@mail.jk.gov.in.”, it reads adding further the instructions are brought into notice of all the concerned for compliance.
